I was just going to ask you guys, would you mind if I make a separate nail thread and move your posts?

Yes, please move these posts! I would've but I think that's a mod thing I cannot do. But I'd love to have a separate nail thread, because I do them far more often than I do my makeup, although I'm excited to share that too!

I'm about to go to a birthday dinner with my boyfriend's family, and I felt like playing around with my makeup! Something a little fresher than my usual dreary black eyeliner. I think it works well with my scrunched-curls hair! Yay! Finally looking pretty!

That's really pretty! I love winged eyeliner.

Yeah, winged eyeliner is basically my bread and butter. My everyday makeup is black winged liner, mascara, and some foundation to even out my skin a bit. And maybe an eyebrow pencil to define my arches if I have time.

When I do put on makeup (for work because people won't buy from me if I look like a troll) it's basically the same: foundation, mascara, and cateye liner.

A little can go a long way, when it come to makeup, which some girls don't get!

You look really pretty! I really like subtle make-up like that.

Thanks shadow! I like it too. I would try something more dramatic once in a while but I only have cheap little eyeshadows I somehow pick up here and there. Maybe one day I'll get some proper ones to try something exciting!

Just to let you all know, I tried the natural/school look eye make-up tutorial that was posted on the blog a while back and I think that (even with my incredibly handicapped make-up skills) it turned out really nice.
I'm best man at a friends wedding tomorrow and wanted to practice my make-up this evening so I didn't panic with everything else. I tried a smoky iedkw tutorial I found online and it was awful, it needed such specialist products that I hadn't even heard off. I tried to improvise and I think that really dark lids just do not suit me.
Also, at the hen party last week one of our friends did peoples make-up (I did nails). I let my friend do my make-up because I thought it would be a change and it was so bad, I actually looked like a drag queen. I took some of it off, but obviously not enough because the photos that went up today are so bad.
So I did not want a repeat of that. There are reasons why I don't wear a lot of make-up and that is one of them! I'm very happy with what I did this evening, but my only worry is replicating it for tomorrow. =/
